Status panel

The panel in the corner while you build: progress, what is left and what is switched on. Make it smaller, move it or hide it.

While you stand in a build, a panel in the top-left corner shows its name, how far along it is, how many blocks are left, wrong or extra, and the block in your hand with how many of it the build still needs. Step out of the build and it goes away.

Full, compact or hidden #

ShowWhat you see
AutoThe default. The full panel while you look around. While blocks go in, by hand or by the printer, only the compact line, and the full panel again a few seconds after you stop. Also the compact line when the full panel does not fit the window.
FullAlways the full panel. On a small window it is drawn smaller instead.
CompactOne line: icons for what is switched on, the block in your hand, the counts and the progress bar.
HiddenNothing. The block you look at still gets its own small card.

The Status panel: auto, full, compact, hidden key goes from one to the next. It has no key until you set one, see Shortcuts. Or right-click the panel on the layout screen below. The panel also hides while you fly with an elytra, and while the F3 screen is open unless you turn off Hide with F3.

The icons #

The compact line starts with an icon for each thing that is switched on. The full panel uses the same icons at the start of its rows, with the key that switches each one.

  • Printer
    The printer is on.
  • Easy place
    Easy place is on.
  • Layer view
The layer view is on. The layers on show follow the icon, for example 3 or 3–5, and the counts on the line are for those layers.
  • Show: wrong state
The view filter shows only wrong blocks. See Status colors.
  • Show: extra
The view filter shows only extra blocks.

The other cards #

CardWhat it shows
Hidden buildsSays when all builds are hidden, or the one you stand in, and whether easy place and the printer are paused for it. So a hidden ghost never looks like a broken one.
Look-at cardThe block you look at and whether it is right, when you are not standing in a build. Top middle by default. See Look at a block.
GatheringWhat is still to get for a build, wherever you are, after you click Gather in its material list. Top left by default. See Gather.
Saving a big selectionWhile a save on a server waits for chunks you have not seen: how many are left and which way to go, with Save now and Stop. See Big saves.

Move it or make it smaller #

  1. Press B, click the gear at the bottom right and open the HUD tab.
  2. Under the card's name, for example Build status, set Show, Position and Size. Or click Open next to Move panels on screen.
  3. On the HUD layout screen, drag a card where you want it. It snaps to the edges and the middle of the screen and to other cards.
  4. Scroll on a card to change its size, right-click it to change what it shows, double-click it to put it back in its corner. Click Done.

A card you dragged shows Custom as its position. Picking a spot in the settings (Top left, Top right, Top middle, Bottom left, Bottom right or Bottom middle) puts it back there.

Reset all panels, under On screen in the HUD tab, puts every card back where it started, at full size and showing what it showed at first. That counts for the cards of other VoxelSprout mods too. Click Reset all twice to confirm.

Shrink to fit the screen default On
Draws the card smaller when it would cover too much of the screen.
Hide with F3 default On
Hides the card while the F3 screen is open. Hitboxes (F3 + B) do not hide it.
See-through cards default On
The cards let the game show through their background. Their text stays solid. Card opacity sets how much.

The cards keep clear of the rest of the screen. They make room for boss bars, chat, the hotbar, the sidebar, Jade, WTHIT and minimap mods, and line up below the coordinates on Xaero's Minimap. Opening chat does not move them; turn off Make room for chat in the HUD tab and new chat lines do not either.

Cards of other VoxelSprout mods you have installed show on the same screen. Cards in the same corner stack instead of covering each other.
